The defense industry group's unmanned boat composite armor has been delivered.

Recently, the unmanned boat composite armor independently developed and produced by the China Weapon Industry Group 1st Institute Group passed the test, and a small batch was delivered to users, laying a solid foundation for large-scale application. The test shows that the composite armor reduces the areal density by 67% compared to traditional steel armor, overcoming the technical bottleneck of "reducing weight without reducing defense" for unmanned platforms, effectively improving the endurance of unmanned boats, and providing a "new solution" for lightweight high-end equipment.
