Mount Lewotobi-Rakiraki in East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia erupted twice on the evening of the 1st and early morning of the 2nd, with the volcanic ash column reaching up to 18,000 meters. The Chinese Consulate General in Denpasar issued a safety advisory on the 2nd, reminding Chinese citizens in the consular district to pay attention to the impact of the volcanic eruption.
