The China National Petroleum Guangxi Petrochemical Refining and Petrochemical Integration Transformation and Upgrading Project has been completed comprehensively.

The 1.2 million tons/year ethylene unit of Guangxi Petrochemical, built by China Petroleum Engineering Co., recently achieved a high standard interconnection, marking the comprehensive completion of the transformation and upgrade project of Guangxi Petrochemical's refining and chemical integration, entering the linkage test phase. This project is a major project in the national petrochemical industry planning layout and also a key project of China Petroleum's "14th Five-Year Plan". The total investment of the project is 30.5 billion yuan, including the construction of 14 sets of chemical units such as 1.2 million tons/year ethylene cracking, 2 sets of refining units such as 2 million tons/year diesel adsorption and desulfurization, as well as supporting public works, storage and transportation, and auxiliary production facilities.
