As of the close of the day, the price of light crude oil futures for delivery in August on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by $1.16 to close at $67.54 per barrel, an increase of 1.75%; the price of Brent crude oil futures for delivery in September rose by $1.00 to close at $69.52 per barrel, an increase of 1.46%.
