China Railway: In the first half of the year, the total number of passengers sent by national railways reached 2.24 billion, an increase of 6.7% year-on-year, reaching a new high in history for the same period.

According to the Securities Times APP, on July 17, China Railway issued a document stating that since the beginning of this year, the railway sector has adhered to the development ideology centered on the people, continuously deepened the structural reform of transportation supply side, strengthened the organization of passenger transportation, enriched the supply of passenger transportation products, continuously improved passenger transportation capacity and service quality, guaranteed the safe, convenient and warm travel of passengers, and in the first half of 2025, the national railway has accumulated 2.24 billion passenger trips, an increase of 6.7% year-on-year, setting a new high for the same period in history.
