Hang Seng Index Company: Hang Seng Index recorded a 2.6% increase in August, rising for the fourth consecutive month.

According to the Intelligence Finance APP, the August review released by the Hang Seng Index Company shows that the Hong Kong stock market (represented by the Hang Seng Composite Index) continued to rise in August, recording a 2.6% increase, marking the fourth consecutive month of gains. The Hang Seng Index and the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index rose by 1.2% and 0.7% respectively, while the Hang Seng Volatility Index and the Hang Seng China Enterprises Volatility Index fell by 2% and 0.04% respectively, to 21 and 23. The Hang Seng Technology Index, which tracks leading technology companies listed in Hong Kong, rose by 4.1% in August.
