Our country has established a normalized system of mobile medical services to achieve full coverage in medically underserved counties.
The National Health Commission, together with the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the National Health Commission, released a notice today on establishing a normalized rotational medical system, focusing on "grassroots, foundation, and basic" to promote the establishment of a multi-level and widely covered rotational medical system, achieving full coverage of normalized rotational medical services in resource-poor counties. The notice requires that various regions establish multi-level rotational medical teams. The national rotational medical team is mainly composed of senior experts from commission-affiliated hospitals, directly managed hospitals of the administration, and "dual centers"; provincial rotational medical services require participation of all third-tier public hospitals, with provinces, cities, and counties organizing hospitals at their respective levels to provide services in counties and villages, and also encouraging privately-run medical institutions to participate.
