According to the Gansu Provincial Department of Water Resources, the current round of heavy rainfall in Gansu has ended, and floodwaters in various rivers have receded and reservoir operations are stable. In accordance with the "Gansu Provincial Department of Water Resources Emergency Response Plan for Flood and Drought Disasters," the Gansu Provincial Department of Water Resources has decided to terminate the level III flood emergency response for Tianshui, Dingxi, and Pingliang cities starting from 4:00 p.m. on August 29; to terminate the level IV flood emergency response for Zhangye, Wuwei, Jinchang, Lanzhou, Baiyin, Linxia Prefecture, Qingyang, and Lanzhou New Area; and to retain the level III flood emergency response for Gannan Prefecture and Longnan City. We are currently in a critical period for flood prevention and control. All areas are advised to continue to closely monitor weather forecasts, strengthen monitoring, warning, consultation, judgment, and on-duty work, effectively carry out water project scheduling, mountain flood disaster and small and medium-sized river flood prevention work, and make every effort to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
