The UK government has reached a $13.5 billion agreement to build at least 5 new warships for Norway, the largest naval export deal in British history and Norway's biggest defense investment to date. The UK Ministry of Defence stated that the plan will create 4000 jobs in the UK supply chain, including over 2000 jobs in Scotland.
