A-share midday review: ChiNext Index rose 2.34% in half a day, lithium battery and energy metal sectors surged collectively
The three major indexes of A-shares collectively rose in early trading. As of the midday break, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.16%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 0.93%, and the ChiNext Index rose by 2.34%. The BeiZe 50 Index rose by 2.47%. The total turnover of Shanghai, Shenzhen and Jing three markets reached 1.8752 trillion yuan by midday, with an increase of 67 billion yuan compared to the previous day. Over 2000 individual stocks rose across the market. In terms of sector performance, the lithium battery, liquor, insurance, innovative drugs, and non-ferrous metal sectors performed well, while the semiconductor, computing power, lithography machine, and intelligent spectrum AI sectors performed poorly. On the market, insurance stocks surged at the beginning, with New China Insurance hitting the limit up but then falling back. Liquor stocks rebounded collectively, with Shede Jiuyi, Jiuguijiu, and Wuliangye all rising. The lithium battery sector rose during the session, with CATL soaring by over 10%. Stocks related to innovative drugs also rebounded significantly, with Kangchen Pharmaceutical and Huahai Pharmaceutical hitting the limit up. The semiconductor and computing power sectors adjusted today, with Cambricon Technologies dropping by over 8% at the beginning and Beihua Microelectronics, Chendu Huawei, Longxin Zhongke, and others falling. CPO concept stocks showed mixed performances, with Changxin Bochuang and Dekeli falling by over 10%, while Changfei Opitc Fiber and Tianfutongxin performed well.
