Beijing: Companies can receive financial support for handling five categories of waste electrical and electronic products.

The Beijing Municipal Finance Bureau and the Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau recently introduced the "Implementation Measures for the Special Fund Management for the Treatment of Waste Electrical and Electronic Products in Beijing", which stipulates that enterprises meeting the conditions for the disposal of televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, and desktop computers can receive special fund support through "rewarding instead of compensating".
