In July, the national electricity market transaction volume increased by 7.4% year on year.

The data released by the National Energy Administration today shows that in July 2025, the national electricity market transaction volume was 624.6 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 7.4% compared to the same period last year. Among them, the intra-provincial transaction volume was 461.4 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 7.3% year-on-year; the inter-provincial and inter-regional transaction volume was 163.2 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 7.9% year-on-year; and the green electricity transaction volume was 25.6 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 43.2% year-on-year.
