United Airlines stated that Mexico will be returning capital flight slots to American airlines.

In a document released by United Airlines on Thursday local time, Mexican officials informed several U.S. airlines during a call on August 18 that the reduced slots at Mexico City's main airport would be returned to them. The Mexican Ministry of Transportation did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
