During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, by promoting strengthening supervision throughout the entire chain, preventing various risks, the overall food safety situation in the country remains stable. The pass rate of spot checks for grain processing products, meat products, dairy products, etc. has remained high for several consecutive years. In response to the rapid development of platform economy in recent years, resulting in various new consumption scenarios such as ordering takeaway, live streaming sales, online shopping, the market supervision department has strengthened guidance for platform companies to comply with regulations, increased special spot check efforts, comprehensively addressed prominent issues such as "ghost deliveries" and false claims, urgently formulated regulations for the supervision of chain operations, live streaming e-commerce, online sales, further clarifying the responsibilities for food safety of various entities, ensuring consumer convenience while eliminating new risks in a timely manner.
