In July, India's import of Russian crude oil decreased, partly due to Reliance Industries, the operator of the world's largest refinery, reducing its purchases by 19% compared to the previous month. During August and September, Indian state-owned refineries will instead seek alternative sources of oil from the Middle East or the United States to replace Russian oil.
