BYD: Announces drifting patent for vehicles, can lower drifting threshold.

Tianyancha App shows that on August 19th, the patent "Vehicle Drift Control Method, Vehicle, Electronic Device, and Storage Medium" applied by BYD Company Limited was published. The abstract shows that the vehicle drift control method includes: determining the drift intention based on the driving state information of the vehicle; if the drift intention is determined, determining the current drift angle of the vehicle; if the current drift angle is greater than the target drift angle, determining the parameter adjustment amount based on the angle difference between the current drift angle and the target drift angle, where the parameter adjustment amount includes at least one of the torque adjustment amount of the drive motor and the steering angle adjustment amount of the rear axle; performing drift control based on the parameter adjustment amount to reduce the drift angle of the vehicle. The vehicle drift control method of this invention makes the drift process of the vehicle simpler and more controllable, reducing the threshold for drifting and enhancing the driving pleasure.
