CITIC Securities research report stated that we expect global household storage installations to reach a turning point of accelerated growth by 2025. The CAGR in the next 3 years is expected to be close to 15%, with bright spots emerging in markets such as Australia, Asia, and Africa. Europe: After a two-year reshuffling period, inventory clearance has become apparent, and industry demand has returned to steady growth. The channel structure is being reshaped as leading storage channel operators evolve through model innovation and value chain extension to become "light asset service providers" and "regional oligopolies," driving the equipment supply structure towards concentration. Australia: The household storage penetration rate and incremental penetration rate are only about 7% and 20% respectively, leaving a large room for improvement compared to Europe's over 15% and 40% penetration rates. With the implementation of high-level household storage subsidies in 2025, project investment payback period may be shortened to around 5 years, potentially triggering a 3-6 fold growth in annual installations in Australia. Chinese household storage suppliers with leading market shares in Australia are expected to significantly benefit. Asia and Africa: Emerging markets face severe electricity shortages, with urgent needs for power allocation and grid expansion. Some countries are increasing policy support for household solar storage systems, driving continuous growth in household storage installations. Particularly in countries like Southeast Asia and South Asia, significant growth is expected, with household storage blooming in multiple regions.
