Today, it was learned from the National Fire Protection and Rescue Bureau that recently, the National Fire Protection and Rescue Bureau, the Ministry of Public Security, and the State Administration for Market Regulation jointly issued a work plan to deploy a comprehensive rectification of the entire chain of fire product quality and safety from July to December this year nationwide. It is reported that this rectification will focus on more than 20 types of products closely related to public safety and fire rescue effectiveness, such as portable fire extinguishers, filtering-type self-rescue breathing apparatus, sprinklers, fire doors, etc., covering the areas of production, circulation, use, certification, testing, etc. In the production field, attention will be paid to industrial clusters and enterprises that have failed multiple inspections; in the circulation field, supervision will be strengthened in product sales concentration areas and online trading platforms; in the use field, focus will be on densely populated places; in the certification and testing field, illegal acts of voluntary product certification organizations and testing institutions with relevant qualifications will be strictly investigated.
