The Ministry of Public Security requires all-out efforts to identify hidden dangers, focusing on geological disaster-prone areas, dilapidated buildings, low-lying areas, risky reservoirs, tourist attractions, construction sites, underground spaces, etc. Carry out comprehensive and grid-like inspections, strengthen hidden danger rectification measures, and effectively prevent disasters. Since the heavy rainfall, public security organs in disaster-stricken areas have deployed emergency rescue forces totaling 197,000 person-times and 64,000 police cars, assisting in the relocation and resettlement of 101,000 people, and rescuing over 1,800 individuals in danger. The public security traffic management department has conducted dynamic patrols of over 3,150 sections prone to landslides and collapses, and inspected more than 2,690 potential water accumulation areas such as underpasses and low-lying culverts in urban areas.
