International Atomic Energy Agency: Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant continues to be attacked, posing a threat to safety.
On July 26th local time, International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Grossi stated that the agency's team stationed at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant learned that the city of Enerhodar, where the nuclear power plant is located, had once again been subjected to military attacks earlier that day. It is known that the city is the residence of most of the nuclear power plant staff. Grossi mentioned that the IAEA team visited two locations that were attacked that day, with one damaged building showing shattered windows and bullet fragments, but the exact time and manner of the attack could not be confirmed. Grossi also noted that this year the nuclear power plant training center has been targeted several times. Continuous attacks pose a threat to the safety of the nuclear power plant and increase the mental and physical stress on the staff.
