According to the Haihe River Water Conservancy Commission of the Ministry of Water Resources, from July 24th to 27th, the Haihe River Basin experienced the strongest rainfall since the start of the flood season this year. In the face of this localized and extremely heavy rainfall, the flash floods have been successfully defended against, and the current flood prevention situation in the basin is stable. From the 24th to the 27th, influenced by warm and humid airflow on the edge of the subtropical high, heavy to torrential rain fell in the central and northern parts of the Haihe River Basin, with locally exceptional heavy rainfall covering an area of approximately 160,000 square kilometers, making it the strongest rainfall event since the start of the flood season in the basin this year.
