The torch relay of the 12th World Games in 2025 was held today, marking the first time in the history of the World Games that a torch relay has been held. The sacred flame was successfully collected at the Sanxingdui Museum in Deyang, Sichuan. The World Games torch, named "Bamboo Dream", will be relayed in the cities of Chengdu, Deyang, and Meishan, covering a total distance of 11 kilometers. The first torch relay station was chosen at the Sanxingdui Museum in Deyang, Sichuan, where Olympic champions Ma Long and Huang Zhangjiayang will participate in the relay event.
