Kraft will remove synthetic colors from cereal foods by the end of 2027.
American grain food giant Kellogg's announced on July 18th an update to its transparency, quality, and safety commitment, stating that it will remove related synthetic colors from a small portion of retail food products that currently contain "FD&C synthetic colors" by the end of 2027. The company had previously announced that starting in 2026, they will no longer launch new products containing these colors and committed to removing these ingredients from their grain food products supplied to schools by the 2026-2027 academic year.
