The spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce responded to questions from reporters regarding the approval of the sale of Nvidia H20 chips to China by the United States.
According to the Zhijing Finance and Economics APP, on July 18th, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce responded to questions from reporters regarding the approval by the United States to sell Nvidia H20 chips to China. After the China-US London Economic and Trade Dialogue, both sides have maintained close communication, confirmed the details of the London agreement, and progressed with relevant implementation work. China has approved the export application of controlled items that meet the conditions in accordance with the law, and the US has subsequently cancelled the restrictions on China discussed during the dialogue in early July. We have noticed that the US has recently expressed its intention to approve the sale of Nvidia H20 chips to China. China believes that the US should abandon zero-sum thinking and continue to cancel a series of unreasonable economic and trade restrictions on China.
