Jiangsu has completed the construction of 60 national key rural tourism towns.

From July 15th to 18th, the National Cultural Industry Empowerment Countryside Revitalization Special Training Course organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism was held in Nanjing. During the opening ceremony, typical experiences from Jiangsu province were introduced. It was reported at the meeting that Jiangsu has built 60 national key villages for rural tourism, with 5 villages such as Nanjing Jiangning Huanglong Xian Tea Culture Village and Nantong Haimen Yisheng Village being selected as "Tourism-aided Rural Revitalization Cases" by the World Tourism Alliance. Niu Jiao Village Zhu Hai Leisure Sports Town in Suqian City has become a benchmark project for the integration of sports and tourism, while Jiangning Yimu Fangtang and Huai'an Yun Cang Hai Homestay have been listed as Grade A tourism homestays nationwide. Haimen District of Nantong, Sucheng District of Suqian, Xinghua City of Taizhou, and Jiangning District of Nanjing were selected as national pilot units for the empowerment of rural revitalization through the cultural industry.
