Recently, the Shanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology announced the excavation data of a Yuan Dynasty tomb in Nanxi River, Fushan County, Shanxi Province. The data shows that during the Yuan Dynasty, the Jinnan region was under the jurisdiction of Hedongnan Road. In previous archaeological discoveries, there were a large number of tombs from the Yuan Dynasty, including brick-carved tombs and mural tombs with complex structures and exquisite decorations. The tomb excavated this time is typical in terms of the unearthed items, reflecting to a certain extent the types and characteristics of Yuan Dynasty burial goods, providing valuable material for the study of tombs in the Jinnan region during the same period.
