Continuous heavy rains in Gongshan, Yunnan have triggered floods and mudslides, affecting nearly 5,000 people.

Due to continuous heavy rainfall, many places in Gongshan County, Nujiang Prefecture, Yunnan Province have experienced flooding and geological disasters. As of 9 pm on May 31, a total of 1362 households and 4857 people have been affected in the whole county, with 1342 people being urgently relocated and resettled. There have been no casualties. The preliminary estimate of economic losses is about 87.54 million yuan. Various disaster relief efforts are progressing in an orderly manner.
