Xinjiang's "most beautiful self-driving road" Duku Highway will resume traffic on May 31st.

According to the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Department of Transportation, the Du Ku Highway has completed clearing snow and repairing road surface diseases along the entire route. It has now entered the final stage of a multi-department joint safety hazard investigation and rectification. It is planned to open to traffic from May 31, 2025, and small cars with 7 seats or less will be allowed to pass.
