The Ministry of Natural Resources and the China Meteorological Administration jointly issued an orange geological disaster meteorological risk alert at 18:00 on August 1: From 20:00 on August 1, 2026, to 20:00 on August 2, there is a high risk of geological disasters in parts of central and western Shanxi, northeastern Jilin, southern Heilongjiang, southeastern Guangdong, southern Guangxi, parts of central and southern Sichuan, western and northeastern Yunnan, southeastern Tibet, southern and northeastern Shaanxi, and southeastern Gansu; the risk of geological disasters is high in parts of southwestern Shaanxi and southeastern Gansu.
