Goldwind Technology participates in the commercial operation of the Ummbila Emoyeni Phase I wind power project.

According to news from Goldwind Technology, the first phase of the Ummbila Emoyeni wind power project, developed by South Africa's Seriti Green, has recently begun commercial operations. The project has an installed capacity of 155 MW and an annual power generation of 480 million kilowatt-hours, which is expected to meet the electricity needs of approximately 500,000 households, while reducing carbon emissions by about 400,000 tons each year. It is equipped with 25 Goldwind Technology GWH182-6.2 MW intelligent wind turbines, with a rotor diameter of 183.5 meters, making it the largest operational wind power project in South Africa in terms of rotor diameter to date.
