The construction of the 20-megawatt flywheel energy storage project in Golmud, Qinghai has commenced.

The 20-megawatt flywheel energy storage project, constructed by Qinghai Branch of China Green Development Investment Group Co., Ltd., commenced construction on August 1 in Golmud City, Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. This project utilizes multi-type flywheel coordination technology, enabling millisecond-level response. Once completed, it will promote the diversification and high-quality development of new energy storage in China.
