63 countries have implemented zero tariffs in our country.
The State Council Information Office held a press conference to introduce the implementation of the "Fifteen Five-Year Plan" and accelerate the modernization of customs to serve the construction of a strong trading nation. It was reported at the conference that China's policy of promoting independent and unilateral opening up has taken effect. In May of this year, China fully implemented a zero tariff measure for diplomatic countries in Africa. Currently, China has implemented the zero tariff policy for 63 countries. Customs has formulated a supervision plan to implement the "zero tariff" policy, upgraded the "green channel" for agricultural and food products entering China, innovated the implementation of risk-based management, and taken facilitation measures such as "one-stop access". It is implementing high-level economic and trade agreements, strengthening the alignment of customs procedures, inspection and quarantine, and rules of origin. In the first half of this year, China's imports and exports to and from Africa increased by 19.6%, and exports and imports to and from 31 free trade agreement partners increased by 28.1%.
