The "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" for forestry and grassland conservation and utilization was announced to the public on July 22. The plan proposes that by 2030, decisive victories will be achieved in the three major landmark battles of the "Three-North" project, the integration and optimization of natural protected areas will be completed, and the quality and service functions of forest, grassland, wetland, and desert ecosystems will continue to enhance. The diversity of forest and grass supply and consumption scenes will be enriched, and the total output value of the forestry and grass industry will reach a new level. The plan deploys work in aspects such as scientifically carrying out large-scale national greening actions, comprehensively promoting the construction of a natural protected area system, nurturing and strengthening the forestry and grass industry, synergistically strengthening ecological security capabilities, continuously deepening reforms in key areas, and vigorously promoting innovation-driven and open cooperation efforts.
