China Meteorological Administration upgrades heavy rain emergency response to level three.

From June 7th to 8th, heavy to torrential rain is expected in the eastern part of the southwestern region, Jiangnan, South China, etc. Among them, some areas in southeastern Sichuan, central Chongqing, eastern and southern Guizhou, northern and southern coastal areas of Guangxi, Pearl River Estuary in Guangdong, southeastern Fujian, etc. will experience heavy rain. Some of the above-mentioned areas will also experience short-term heavy rainfall, with local thunderstorms and strong convective weather. The China Meteorological Administration has issued a yellow warning for heavy rain. After comprehensive analysis and emergency consultations, the China Meteorological Administration has upgraded and adjusted the level IV emergency response for major meteorological disasters to a level III emergency response.
