The main ideas of the "Housing Provident Fund Management Regulation" revision.

On June 5th, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development publicly solicited opinions on the "Regulations on the Management of Housing Provident Funds". The main idea of the revision of this "Regulation" is to make the housing provident fund system better meet the diversified housing consumption needs of depositors at different stages. Firstly, expand the use of funds from "buying a house" and "renting a house" to "renovating a house" and "maintaining a house" to make the use of funds more diverse. Secondly, include a large number of flexible employees in the coverage of the system to make the beneficiaries more extensive. Thirdly, promote mutual recognition and mutual loans, strengthen digital construction, and make the use of funds more convenient. Fourth, strengthen risk management, prevent fraud and loan fraud, and make the operation of funds safer.
