The second phase of the Jiangsu Yangzhou to Zhenjiang DC transmission project has been completed and put into operation.

According to the reporter from State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Co., Ltd., the second phase of the 200 kV DC transmission project from Yangzhou to Zhenjiang in Jiangsu Province was completed and put into operation on the 12th. This is the first cross-river project in China that combines both AC and DC transmission. After the project is put into operation, it can transmit more than 6 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity to the power load center in the Yangtze River Delta region every year, significantly enhancing the regional grid's regulation capability.
