A group can be formed with just 2 people, and the application process is convenient, effectively addressing the pain points of previous general tourist visas with single round trips and limited itineraries. In order to ensure the implementation of the policy, the Hengqin border checkpoint, in conjunction with the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone, has issued detailed management implementation rules, clarifying group formation processes and travel agency qualifications. Currently, 56 travel agencies have obtained operational qualifications, organizing over 27,000 tour groups and serving over 110,000 tourists. With the start of the Spring Festival travel rush, the cross-border cultural and tourism fervor is surging, causing a peak in passenger flow at the Hengqin port. The convenient policies of the "QinAo Tour Group" continue to release dividends, becoming an "accelerator" for the development of the cultural and tourism industries in Hengqin and Macao. According to statistics from the Hengqin border checkpoint of the Zhuhai Immigration Inspection General Station, since the start of the 2026 Spring Festival travel rush, the daily average number of people using the endorsement has doubled compared to the same period last year, with approximately 30,000 people using it in the first 10 days. This has driven the Spring Festival passenger flow at the Hengqin port to exceed 1.12 million, a year-on-year increase of 31.1%, with daily passenger flow exceeding 100,000 for 10 consecutive days.
