NetEase executive Ding Yingfeng retires: He worked for 23 years and led the development of "Fantasy Westward Journey".

NetEase announced that Ding Yingfeng, executive vice president of the group and head of the online gaming department, has decided to retire, effective December 31, 2025. After retirement, Ding Yingfeng will continue to serve as a consultant for NetEase starting in 2026. According to the introduction on NetEase's management team page, Ding Yingfeng joined NetEase in 2002 and served as vice president of the NetEase group from 2011 to 2016, responsible for product development, operation, and management of the online gaming department. Since 2016, he has been serving as executive vice president of NetEase, overseeing the interactive entertainment division of NetEase's online gaming business.
