The Anlan Expressway is an important part of the national high-speed road network, with a length of 88.554 kilometers, crossing the mountains of southern Shaanxi with a bridge and tunnel ratio of 96%. After its opening, it connects with the Chongqing Chengkou to Kaizhou Expressway, becoming an important inter-provincial passage between Shaanxi and Chongqing. According to China Railway Group, the Wuhan to Yichang section of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu high-speed railway started operation today. The Wuhan-Yichang section of the railway is 314 kilometers long, with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, allowing travel between Wuhan and Yichang in just 69 minutes, reducing the journey time by 34 minutes compared to the current high-speed trains on the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu high-speed railway. Yesterday, the Shaanxi-Chongqing section of the G69 Yinchuan Expressway, including the section from the Shaanxi-Chongqing border to Beiping and the section from Langao to the Shaanxi-Chongqing border on the Anlan Expressway, were opened to traffic simultaneously, completing the full opening of the Shaanxi-Chongqing section of the G69 Yinchuan Expressway.
