Panama President: The first direct flight returning Venezuelan immigrants will take off in the coming days.

Panamanian President Mulino announced on the 18th that the first direct flight of the "voluntary return plan" carrying 70 Venezuelan citizens will take off from Panama on the 22nd and head to the Venezuelan capital of Caracas. Mulino stated during a routine press conference on that day that the Panamanian government's implementation of the "voluntary return plan" aims to assist undocumented immigrants in returning to their home country voluntarily. Previously, Panama mainly assisted Venezuelan immigrants in returning to their home country through sea transportation or transit through a third country.
