The "Outlook for the Development of China's Artificial Intelligence Industry in 2026" released by the CCID Research Institute predicts that in 2026, China's artificial intelligence industry will maintain a high-speed growth trend. Among them, the proportion of intelligent computing power is expected to exceed 35%, and domestic chips will achieve large-scale application in some scenarios. Liu Lichao, Deputy Director of the Artificial Intelligence Research Laboratory of the Institute of Information Technology and Software Industry of CCID Research Institute, introduced that in 2025, China's artificial intelligence industry scale showed an explosive growth trend. As of September, the scale of China's core artificial intelligence industry exceeded 900 billion yuan, with more than 5,300 artificial intelligence enterprises, and over 400 national-level artificial intelligence specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprises. The report predicts that next year, China's large-scale model technology capabilities will focus on key dimensions such as deepening physical cognition, improving reasoning efficiency, and innovating architecture paradigm, ushering in further upgrades; the quality and openness of data elements will be improved synchronously, speeding up the construction of high-quality Chinese language corpora and industry data sets; artificial intelligence technology will accelerate from the front-end service link to core areas such as research and development, production, etc.
