Ministry of Transportation: Encourage cruise shipping companies to increase the training efforts for senior cruise ship crew in China.

The Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism jointly issued "Several Measures to Further Promote the Development of Cruise Transport and Tourism Services". Among them, it mentioned strengthening the safety guarantee of cruise transport. The competent authorities of transportation and maritime management agencies should cooperate with the cultural and tourism administrative departments to promote local governments to organize coordination of relevant departments to strengthen safety management according to their responsibilities, establish a linkage mechanism, strengthen information and resource sharing, and ensure the safety of cruise transport. The competent authorities of transportation and maritime management agencies should do a good job in the supervision of cruise transport safety and service guarantee according to the requirements of the "one ship, one policy" plan for large cruise ships; and encourage cruise transport enterprises to increase the training efforts of senior cruise ship crew in China.
