Hong Kong Stock Market Closing Review: Hang Seng Index rises by 0.58%, Hang Seng Technology Index rises by 0.84%

Hong Kong stocks closed, with the Hang Seng Index rising 0.58% and the Hang Seng Tech Index rising 0.84%. The Hong Kong stock technology ETF rose 0.83%, and the Hang Seng Hong Kong stock ETF rose 0.86%. In terms of sectors, the building materials and insurance sectors were among the top gainers, while the water utilities and passenger airlines sectors saw the largest declines. In terms of individual stocks, China Ping An rose 6.71%, Jiangxi Copper Corporation rose 6.11%, China Life rose 5.46%, Aluminum Corporation of China rose 5.41%, China Taiping rose 5.36%, Baidu Group-SW rose 5.01%, New China Insurance rose 4.95%, and Luoyang Molybdenum Co. rose 4.91%. However, Yimai Yangguang dropped 13.68%, and Haichang Ocean Park dropped 17.46%. Quzhi Group rose 7.96% and Health Road rose 7.52%.
