UnitedHealth (UNH.US) sells Banmedica for $1 billion, completely exiting the Latin American market.

According to the financial and economic news app Smart Finance, two informed sources have disclosed that UnitedHealth Group (UNH.US) has agreed to sell its remaining business in South America, Banmedica, to Brazilian private equity firm Patria Investments for approximately $1 billion.
