Shenyang City Market Supervision Bureau: 43 unlicensed power banks were found in two electronic markets, and the merchants involved have been filed for investigation.
On November 30, CCTV's "Financial Investigation" program reported a special feature on "Fake 3C Power Banks that Persist despite Bans", exposing three shops in the Heping District Electronic Market suspected of selling power banks that have not passed 3C certification. The Heping District Market Supervision Administration in Shenyang attached great importance to this matter and deployed measures overnight. On the morning of December 1, a special law enforcement action was carried out to conduct inspections on electronic markets, digital malls, mobile phone stores, and mobile phone repair shops in the jurisdiction. Law enforcement officers seized 43 unapproved 3C certified power banks from two electronic markets. In accordance with the "Product Quality Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Regulations on Certification and Accreditation of the People's Republic of China", all involved products have been confiscated and the businesses involved have been under investigation.
