CSRC: Approved East Money Information Securities Co., Ltd. to conduct market making trading business on listed securities.

On April 2nd, the China Securities Regulatory Commission issued a reply approving the qualification of East Money Information Securities Co., Ltd. to engage in market-making trading of listed securities. The reply stated that the company is approved to engage in market-making trading of listed securities. The company must legally equip relevant personnel, business facilities, information systems, and operating premises for market-making trading of listed securities. The company must amend its articles of association according to the reply and report the amended clauses to the local securities regulatory authority of the company's domicile. The company must complete the business registration change within six months from the date of this reply. Within 15 days of obtaining the business license, the company must apply to the CSRC for a new license to operate securities and futures business. The company is not allowed to engage in market-making trading of listed securities until it has obtained the new license to operate securities and futures business.
