GUOFUHEE (02582) and HK & CHINA GAS jointly expand green hydrogen ecosystem in the Greater Bay Area.

Jiangsu GUOFUHEE Technology Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "GUOFUHEE") and HK & CHINA GAS Limited (hereinafter referred to as "China Gas") signed a strategic cooperation agreement on March 28. The two parties will deepen cooperation in green hydrogen supply, liquid hydrogen applications, blending hydrogen into city gas, and green methanol production, with Hong Kong and mainland China as the focal points, jointly expanding the commercialization path of hydrogen energy and injecting new energy into GUOFUHEE's (02582) technology implementation and global layout. This cooperation closely aligns with the national "dual carbon" strategy, highlighting GUOFUHEE's leading position in the field of hydrogen core equipment and green hydrogen supply. As the top enterprise in the mainland hydrogen station equipment market share for five consecutive years, in the future, it will explore cooperation with China Gas from multiple angles, including GUOFUHEE providing internationally certified (ISO, ASTM, etc.) green hydrogen resources through a renewable energy hydrogen production base in Inner Mongolia. In the mainland market, the two parties aim to upgrade city gas blending hydrogen technology, with GUOFUHEE providing customized green hydrogen transportation and distribution solutions, working with China Gas' city gas companies to establish hydrogen blending scenarios and gradually expand the application of city gas hydrogen energy. It is worth noting that the two parties will actively explore the use of green hydrogen resources in Inner Mongolia, promote the development of green methanol production capacity, and further extend the application of hydrogen energy in different value chains. GUOFUHEE (Hong Kong) Development Co., Ltd. as the core executive body, will rely on the Hong Kong international platform to coordinate the output of liquid hydrogen technology and project implementation, accelerating the globalization of the industrial chain layout. This cooperation is important for GUOFUHEE. On one hand, by deepening ties with a century-old energy giant in Hong Kong, it verifies the applicability of the "production, storage, transportation, and utilization" full chain technology in the Hong Kong and international markets; on the other hand, it promotes the accumulation of commercialization experience in multiple scenarios of hydrogen energy, providing benchmark cases for GUOFUHEE to expand domestic and overseas markets. In the future, the two parties will refine the implementation plan through feasibility studies, continually unleash the carbon reduction potential of hydrogen energy in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the mainland, leading the new ecology of energy transformation.
