China Association of Automobile Manufacturers: Sales of new energy vehicles in March reached 1.237 million units, an increase of 40.1% year-on-year.

According to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in March 2025, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were 1.277 million and 1.237 million respectively, representing year-on-year growth of 47.9% and 40.1% respectively. From January to March 2025, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were 3.182 million and 3.075 million respectively, with year-on-year growth of 50.4% and 47.1% respectively. In March 2025, domestic sales of new energy vehicles reached 1.079 million units, up 41.9% month-on-month and 42.3% year-on-year. From January to March 2025, domestic sales of new energy vehicles reached 2.633 million units, up 47.6% year-on-year. In March 2025, exports of new energy vehicles reached 158,000 units, up 20.1% month-on-month and 26.8% year-on-year. From January to March 2025, exports of new energy vehicles reached 441,000 units, up 43.9% year-on-year.
