In order to further boost consumption and help foreign trade enterprises explore the domestic market, Tencent (00700) launched the "Assistance Program for a New Journey of Foreign Trade" on April 17. Through ten measures such as setting up a green channel for opening stores, new business incentives, traffic support, and preferential rates, Tencent aims to help foreign trade enterprises expand their domestic and international markets, and it is estimated that through mini programs, WeChat stores, digital offline stores, and other commercial ecosystems, it will add a sales scale of 100 billion RMB for foreign trade enterprises. Specific measures include establishing a green channel for merchants to enter, support for zero deposit trial operation, multi-dimensional incentives for new merchants to grow, matchmaking to expand online sales through live streaming sessions of the "Foreign Trade Good Products Festival", support for WeChat payment fees, providing WeChat payment merchant marketing tools and post-payment traffic support, establishing a billion RMB consumer special subsidy, and facilitating the transfer of Chinese products to Southeast Asia. According to Tencent, self-operated transaction amounts within 1 million RMB in a single store can enjoy a reduction in technical service fees, and a single merchant can receive up to 15,000 RMB in live streaming traffic incentives. In addition to Tencent, other companies have also actively introduced assistance programs. On April 11, JD.com (09618) announced the launch of a 200 billion RMB export-to-domestic sales support plan. Over the next year, JD.com will purchase a large quantity of products for export-to-domestic sales, totaling at least 200 billion RMB, to help foreign trade enterprises quickly expand into the domestic market.
