Hong Kong dollar interbank rates have diverged, with one-month rates hitting a new low in the past week.

Before the Easter holiday, the Hong Kong dollar interbank rates showed some developments. The overnight rate increased by about 22 basis points to 3.32192%, the highest since March 31, while the one-month rate related to loans continued to drop for three consecutive days, reaching 3.58212%, hitting a new low in the past week. The three-month interbank rate, reflecting the cost of bank funds, rose to 3.85596%. The six-month and one-year rates remained unchanged at 3.9% and 4% respectively.
